ABOUT INSHANGHAI

First opened in May 2007, Inshanghai is a well-established Oriental Grand Buffet Restaurant located on the Durham Riverside, under The Riverwalk Shopping Centre and next to Framwellgate Bridge. Inshanghai is a spacious restaurant that has the best tables by the window, as it allows you to gaze upon the fabulous views of Durham Castle.

Inshanghai is able to cater for parties of all sizes, whether it is solo dining, couples or even small & large parties. The layout is set out into different areas, including a large bar area where diners can have pre-drinks before being seated in the buffet area. Inshanghai offers an ‘all you can eat’ policy, with prices varying and specific to different times of the day: Lunch Buffet, Grand Buffet and Sunday Lunch to help yourself to an extensive buffet.
